Its a really cool looking gun, if I ever get my class 3 license I want one.

Its pretty quite with a silencer as well, though not as quite as an MP5.

Low muzzle lift, super fast rate of fire, super big mag to accommodate, wishes it was an MP-5...I'm biased.

Seems counterproductive to silence a low mass 5.7x28. Gotta go with a bigger bullet if you want any energy downrange with subsonic muzzle velocity.

Not really, the small calibers penetrate armor better. The MP7 is the upcoming sub of choice which is 4.6X30, speed rules with body armor, holes in vitals trump energy.

Unless you become a class 3 dealer, manufacturer, or repair shop you won't be able to own one. All M-guns were grandfathered in '86 that can be owned publicly. The only way a regular person is going to get one is as a dealer sample. Thank Reagan for that one.

When I saw the thread title I thought that you were referring to a Ruger P90.

HUH????????...1050fps or less is sub sonic

How is a 55gr bullet going to penetrate better than a 150 gr bullet at the same 1050 fps.......:rolleyes:

Same here. I've shot the Ruger, and it's a pretty standard .45 ACP full-size.

That FN looks pretty nifty. Seabees will probably never get them though:(

Learn what armor is made of and you will know the answer.

What will penetrate a sandbag a .45 or arrow>>>.

{triple roll eyes and body slam}

Hatterasguy 03-13-2008 09:48 PM

Supposidly the round is between a 5.56x45 Nato, and the 9mm. So you get the penitration of the rifle round, without the power.

So fast enough to go through the body armour, without going through them and the wall and killing someone on the other side.

The MP7 is a sick MF, I saw what it could do to a Kevler helmet, wow!:eek: It looked like a 7.62 hit it!
