yup, im new here

just got ahold of a 1983 300D turbo. I need some stuff for it and a couple of members here have been fantastic and gone way out of there way to help me find some of that stuff. but I would like to post up in the classified section for some other things I need. But noticed that you have to have at least 10 posts to start a post in the classified section. is that across the board or is it intended for the people who are only selling things. I need to buy. buy chance would a moderator answer? thanks ahead of time....

Welcome, Capt.! It's pretty easy to rack up 10, just go reply to 10 threads in the diesel forum. I don't know if OD posts count towards that?

Greetings, Cap! It won't take long to have 10 posts, but OD posts don't count. Nice to have you aboard.

Welcome!

Go comment a bit in the forums. That rule is to keep the spammers out, of the parts forums.

And I've got 540ish, not a single one of them useful information.

I think we need to expand the rule to all forums. We're getting regular spammers at night here

Then no one new will be able to post!

The parts forums get different kinds of spam, like car dealers trying to push their stuff.
