The highlight of my day was lunch....the best corned beef and cabbage I have ever had. I literally couldn't eat it all and brought about 3 oz of the meat home for later.

Warehousing and trucking is a tough go. Super glad I went into product sales representation and investing for myself, after reading tales like this.

I'm supposed to be the soft manager-type sitting at his desk, talking on the phone or barking out orders, needed for his intellectual property not his body. :D But with family business comes many hats. Especially with guys out.

The day did get better as it went on. Topped off by the stereotypical corned beef and cabbage with spuds and carrots (one of my favorite meals and I don't know why we don't do it more than a couple times a year) and copious amounts of Smithwick's and a couple shots of Jameson's. Followed by a musical serenade sans instruments. :o:)

A few years ago it dawned on me that my life had reached a point where the next meal was the most exciting thing in my life. Things are better now . . .

I know you probably didn't mean to say that's what yours is like. It just reminded me of that.

Way to go guys on the corned beef 'n cabbage and suds!:)
