Anyone into vintage Jaguars? (whats-it-worth Q)

I have a bonnet from a '58 or '59 Jaguar XK150 Roadster in my dad's basement that I want to sell at some point. Also have two grills somewhere. How do I find out what something like that is worth? It looks like it's in good condition other than paint ... smooth and straight. My dad bought it 30+ years ago when he was rebuilding a XK150 drophead Coupe (I wish he still had THAT) and it didn't fit (roadster had a longer hood) so he never used it at all. Looks like something that could be of value to someone. Anyone know what I could ask for it, or where I could find out something like that?

A possible solution.

Oh, what a Jag you are.

^^^^^(Just kidding!!):P:D

What I'd do is google until you find an internet forum group for these, and post a few times after you join one, and THEN offer them up innocently on the "parts and cars for sale" section of the forum.

After they are sold, you can be gone from there.

Nobody will mind.

Bodhi-

What Jim B said- this is the forum :

http://www.jag-lovers.org/

(I've always had a yen for a MKII saloon- I check in there once in awhile)

or there's always the free market on ebay.
