Andrew Zimmern did a Bizarre Foods show in Tokyo or Singapore, somewhere, (???) with some whole cobra meal with some infused alcohol along with the still beating heart. Good stuff.

I've actually eatten some when over in Indoniesa. The heart, liver, kidney is placed in a small cup (think sake) of grain alcohal. I think the alcohol is to kill any germs etc. It suppose to be an aphrodisiac. We also has stir fried cobra. They displayed the cobra or other snakes and we could view them skinning and prepping the food. It tasted pretty good.
On the road from Jakarta to Bangdon the group I was with stopped at a large Chinese styled pavilion. It was built on top of a large pond or water impoundment. We feed some fish with pellets etc. Then the meal came out. It was fish, wrapped with palm fronds and steamed. Lots of rice. Some mentioned were would they get the fish from. another looked over at the water and said probably not to far.
