Boston - Oakland - Japan - MLB Starts
Even though they aren't my favorites in the AL . . . have to admit that was quite a game they played for the Tokyo fans.
How about being Brandon Moss, coming off the bench, and having your first big league homer, in Japan, in a season opener, tie the game in the ninth for extra innings, wearing Hank Aaron's number . . . That folks, is why I love baseball. |

I love it.....I was giddy this morning, listening to ESPN radio talking about it....I'm ready for some diamond notes. I'm riding high from the Phil's success - I hope it can continue.
Did you hear about Sean Casey and his sore neck from the flight? I had to laugh at that.

Add a cohiba to that arrangement and I may pass out with sensory overload.
With whom does the Evil Empire open the season against? The Phils have Washington at home......I want to go so bad.

Yep...that's the beauty of a torturously long season. I must say, I've also enjoyed the young Steinbrenner tenure so far.....it's almost like having the old man back.

That's fine....I'll share....just don't bring Tim450SL along - he's too high strung to watch baseball with. I like to chillllllll when a game is one.

Yeah, well maybe he'll calm down. It just amazes me how people flip out on this forum sometimes. I didn't realize he hadn't been on here for very long.
Shoot, he's in sales. I'm a salesman. If you don't have thicker skin than that, I don't know how you'd survive as a salesman! Baseball is okay. I was just trying to stir that ant pile a little.

I DVR'd the first two games in Japan but am really looking forward to watching some live baseball. It was even 54, albeit rainy, degrees this morning. Spring may get here yet!
