a good list of parts there.
Did you do the rear wheels arches as well? Alon I'm going to save this list, there are some great part numbers in here. |
I did not/am not doing the rear fenders.
The front was done due to a mishap. Would only consider doing the rears if another unfortunate mishap dictated work on near the rear quarters. |
Ahh, yes the rears would require a lot of work.
Have you any pictures of your baby with its newly reconstructed face? Alon |

bump: Pics please?!!! :D

Only problem with doing that is when a car that a 500E should beat...beats you! Then they have all rights to laugh. Should've saved the $$ put into uprating the 400E towards a real 500E. Just my opinion, no flames please. ;)
|
Well, they say the 400E is a 500E at 90%. I think its an ambitious project, if its what you want. I gather the car will be a lot more forgiving to drive/maintain. This car reminds me of the Turbo-Look option Porsche 911s of the 1980's. Some enthusiasts wanted the show and not the go. Though rare now, they are an aquired taste. Though my favorite conversions are really downgrades: narrow body 911s, de-baged M5s, and Short wheelbase Mercs, with the big engine. My dream conversion? A 450SEL 6.9 in a 300SD body.

mine would be the new v12 twin turbo in a new clk chassis. :) mmmmmmm
