What are you doing?! You're not getting into that chocolate again, are you?!

Ara T. 04-08-2008 04:08 PM

Not surprised, that dark chocolate is some good stuff. Get one of those bricks at safeway for 2 bucks and have a square now and then. Much betta than milk chocolate.

Chad300tdt 04-08-2008 04:09 PM

Cool ... dark chocolate covered blueberries must be the ambrosia of the gods.:D

Dee8go 04-08-2008 04:10 PM

Why would you want to go and mess up something as good as chocolate by mixing it with FRUIT?!

True ... but blueberries are the #1 antioxidant fruit and cocoa is the #1 antioxidant candy. Plus you need to get your daily servings of fruit too.:D

Dee8go 04-08-2008 04:14 PM

I only pay attention to what's good for me when it's something I'd want to do anyhow . . . .

LaRondo 04-08-2008 04:18 PM

Get it while you can ... you won't regret it!

Milka Chocolate

Newman's Own has a 70% dark that is excellent. Dove is pretty good too. In moderation it is great for you.
Re: Blueberrys. I eat a bunch of those with yogurt in the am.

secret.........Anyone going to San Francisco read this

Any tourist should NOT miss the Ghirardelli Chocolate factory store.

What you want to do, is load up on the "broken chocolate" they have for sale in that big white oak barrel in there. It is where the absolutely screamin' deal is on the chocolate bars that got broken at some point. Load up, you will never find chocolate that good and that cheap.

It's in Ghirardelli Square (Now a tourist shopping Center just hard by the pier at Aquatic park (the thing on the map of the city that looks like a big question mark) on North Point, up from Fisherman's wharf where all those tourists hang out.

In moderation. Unfortuanately, I treat it as a food group.

Jim B. 04-09-2008 01:01 PM

Food group?

I'm guessing if a white guy had posted something like that here, a bunch of other white guys would have started calling him a racist;)

Newman O's - the organic worlds answer to the oreo. Kinda depressing really....but not too bad dunked in raw milk.

Straight from the package:

Heaven help those poor bozo's that try to filch my newman o's.

The worst tasting substitute for chocolate, IMHO is carob. My wife continually tries to convince me.......but it cannot be done.

We've been buying the Dagoba or Green and Blacks chocolate too......pretty good stuff but I'm no expert (actually, I rarely am:D).

G-benz is the winner in this thread....this shan't be debated:).

You should be proud that she can have that luxury!! Maybe you should offer to dust the cobwebs offin' it on a weekly basis;)

btw, I don't know if I mentioned this (couldn't while I was in the Goulags:D), but you cost me some serious dough over Christmas for trying to re-create your daughter's play set:D
