Looking for a W111 Cabriolet for a photo shoot in NYC

Hello,

We’re from Creative Film Cars in Manhattan. We are the Northeast’s premier provider of vehicles for film, television, fashion shoots, magazines and events.

We are looking for a W111 body Cabriolet (either high or low grille) in white, red, or black for a photo shoot for a print advertisement for a high-end fashion client.

The shoot will be taking place in Manhattan, NY on Thursday, April 24th for a half day shoot. It is a static shoot and no driving will be required. You will be compensated for your time and the rental, and your vehicle will be fully insured for the duration of the shoot.

Please don’t hesitate to call us at 212-864-4060 if you are interested in participating, and we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

To describe more fully what we do:

First, we act as an agent for your vehicle. You supply us with a few photos and we put them in front of our hundreds of clients, and on our online database. When a client selects your ride, we contact you immediately, see if you’re interested, and send you a contract. In most cases no driving will be required. They just have to look the part. You will be paid for the rental and your time.

Second, we act as a caretaker. As a fully licensed and insured company, your car is safe and covered with a one million dollar policy. A CFC representative will attend every shoot to guarantee that everything goes smoothly. At the shoot, you are welcome to stay with your vehicle to ensure that it is treated in the manner, and with the respect it deserves. Location, length of shoot, and use of vehicle are among the factors that determine payment. The moment the shoot is completed you get a check in your hand. Now wasn't that easy?

Additional benefits are increasing the vehicles provenance, value, possible tax write-offs, and seeing your vehicles in print or on film.

Go to http://www.creativefilmcars.com/submit.htm and submit your vehicle. It's really pretty simple. It costs nothing to be listed with our company and your information is protected and will never be shared with anyone. Ever.

For more info give us a call at 212-864-4060 and we will take the time to answer any of your questions, or go to http://www.creativefilmcars.com/ .

Thank you,
Donald and John

My insurance agent would never let me dream of doing anything like that. It's my car, and my assets on the line of someone stubs a finger in the door when the car is being violated by a camera.

I love the part about how the provenance of my fine automobile will be increased because I let someone take a picture of it. That's funny since I used to make a living as an antiques dealer and know a thing or two about provenance.

I gues if we were talking about a '77 Pinto Squire wagon, the provenance would be increased....but a W111 cabrio. They speak for themselves.

Thank you for your comments; of course these are all valid concerns.

We are professional vehicle handlers and are skilled at managing and ensuring the safety of high end vehicles on set. We have used W111 Cabriolets on shoots as well as many other vehicles of great rarity and value. Last month, we were hired by Saleen to ensure the safety of their million dollar Raptor prototype at the NY Auto Show. Please feel free to peruse our website http://www.creativefilmcars.com/shoots.htm to see photos from dozens of past shoots.

We do in fact have a light blue 3.5 Cabriolet that is tentatively on hold for Thursday's shoot; however our client would like us to explore white, red, or black options.

A vehicle owner is always welcome to stay with their precious ride to ensure that it is treated with the respect it deserves. We have at least one Creative Film Cars employee at every shoot to care of a car on set.

Any vehicle that is brought to a shoot is covered by a million dollar insurance policy for the duration of the shoot; a copy of which will be provided to the vehicle owner, along with a contract for the rental and usage.

We are all deeply passionate about cars, which is why we are doing this. This translates into the great care we take with our client's vehicles.

If this sounds like something you would like to participate in, please feel free to call us at 212-864-4060 and we will be happy to take the time to go over the entire process and answer any questions that you may have.

Thank you,
Donald

Eh, I doubt the dude is spamming--but he is trying to build inventory. The guy that gave me my M 37 military truck leases some his other military vehicles out to movie makers, ect....all the time so I'm kind of familiar with what he is doing. He just sold a '42 command car to a production company in finland, because it was cheaper for them to buy it than to lease the thing from so far away. I have had mine asked to appear in a couple of parades, but haven't rec'd any offers for pimping beyond insurance coverage and gas $

There us a quite famous actor that WVO is familiar with and I have met a few times that does the same thing with airplanes

You need to put a lid on it.
