So what are you paying for a gallon of milk?

Yes this is not diesel related, but I'm sure we've beaten the cost of ULSD and biodiesel to death!

Seems like I saw it for $2.69 the other day.

There's a direct relationship to milk prices and Starbucks stock (sbux) seen on a 52 week chart.

Right! Glad I saw that reminder, just got back with two pails of warm milk, lets see now Gasoline, milk, water, alcohol, maybe a shot of acetone, hmmm might as well through in some of this old toluene and some vintage lacquer thinner...
What do you think of used trany fluid and some dirty oil to tone it down(wouldn't want to hurt my engine)

I pay $7 per gallon for raw milk from a local dairy. I use 2 gallons per week and think it's worth every penny since I don't want to raise a cow or goat.

We pay $8 for raw milk here in the DFW area. Doing it for health. No more trans fats, no Canola oil, and we try to eat organic when possible.

sorry...got a bit carried away there but it's great to see other 'like-minds' here on the forum!

We by from a local farmer at $3.50/gal! Don't know how long he'll hold that price but we're sure not going to bring up the issue...

Paid $4.47/gal for B20 last Saturday...OUCH!!
(Quite colorful post - if I must say so m'self!)

Everybody that's getting raw milk should consider making their own kefir.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kefir

I have avoided milk since I was a kid, but recently started drinking raw milk and making kefir after reading that it often can be consumed by people that normally have digestive issues with pasteurized milk products.

It's been great to be able to drink milk again.

Here's a link to help you find a raw milk source near you:

I get to take milk even though I am lactose intolerant by taking Dairy-Eze. If you are going to do that, make sure you know which EZE you are getting. There is Dairy EZE and a lubricant called Anal EZE.
