Yes, it took a while for me to get used to as well. I'm not much of a gamer but I love GTA. The whole R2/L2, Gas/Brake messed me up for the first hour but now that I'm used to it, I like it. You can't just plow through other cars, light poles and trees anymore. The vehicle handling and physics are much more realistic than any other game. The contrast ratio on my Samsung 61" DLP sucks! I have to play the game at night to get a good picture. I may just have to play around with the settings for a while to get it right though. Overall I give the game a 10. The story so far is great! I can't wait to see, or rather, "do" what happens next!

picked up the game this morning or yesterday morning how ever you look at it and wow. the map is so much larger than the other gta games. i got hooked, 11 hours straight, sounds excessive but there where a couple breaks. haven't got a chance to play online but will try soon.

Wow! I could never go 11 hours. Maybe 3 hours if I push it. The game is truly awesome, it's filled with twists and I like that it lets you decide if people should live or die. The cell phone is a definite winner, it really improves the GTA series. Their are a few things missing that I enjoyed in GTA III SA such as being able to buy property but all in all it's an excellent game.

I did have the infamous freezing problem last night but I disabled the autosave function this afternoon which seems to solve the problem for now. The autosave never worked right for me anyway. Hopefully they'll come up with an update to solve this problem soon. They say it's effecting the xbox 360 as well.

PS: Yeah, I haven't even bothered to try the online game. I'm having too much fun being Niko.

I'll try it out in the next couple of days and give my review.

jusst got the game yesterday and have already finshed 36% of it. this is a huge game its going to take along time to finish.

Yeah, I think I'm at 22%. It's a big game, supposedly 40 hours if your really good. I just found out my girlfriend works for the cops!

The map is not as big as San Andreas but it's not filled with massive farm land.

yah that sucks that michelle was the FBI, but from there on get gets cool. you will have some missions where you get to fly the helicopters.
