Hmm, in both Manitowoc and Saint Joseph, Shell has the cheapest, by 5 cents. Plus if you are lazy and don't car about your car, the car wash is a buck off in both places. 270 miles apart from each other, and 4 states away.

I am talking about close vicinity, just a round town. Would have been interseting if you mentioned the Dollar figure on the price tag in your area.
I am not the lazy kind. I wash, wax and polish my cars by hand, btw.

I really don't care about the oil industry's issues with high cost of drilling. It's not my problem.

Diesel is a by-product in the refinery process. Always been the cheapest fuel in the selection, ever since Rudi invented this engine type.

Ok, pirate.

When I started to rid myself of the heavy duty V8's and got back into the Diesel mode, $50 was all it took per month to get me around. Average 12K miles annually.

I have no clue what it is I have to spend now, to get around. Since nothing has changed in driving habits, I guess it would be about 3x the amount.

Since a long time, the reserve light came on in the 300D 2 days ago, so I figured, I better make stop at the pump.
The $60 I had prepaid didn't even fill the tank. The pump shut off faster than I could clean the windshield.

Besides that, I am just not used to stop so frequently at the pump, it is really annoying. I now have to stop about 3.5 times more often at the pump.

Who's gonna reimburse me for the time spent ???

Seriously, it not only suckers my cashflow, it also swallows most valuable time ....

$4.56 in St Joe today. If you can sneak into the truck stop, $4.33. But they aren't letting me get away with it anymore.
I think it's about a nickel to a dime cheaper in Manitowoc. At least gas is.

Exclamation

I went down a road yesterday. I rarely go there. 2 Shell stations on the same intersection. One with $4.75 for Diesel, the other with $4.83 .... What's up with that, I thought ...

I quit chasing down a nickel less or so, for gas, years ago.

The truth is, on a good day, I don't give a damn. After all my credit score is around 800, so what me worry ....

On a bad day .... I just keep moving
