Better not be.

If so, then I missed the dawning of the age of Aquarius back in December 2596.

And that would piss me off.

Only 488 years left to go then...

I'm here and dislike astrology but love astronomy.

Attached a pic of Saturn I took on Tuesday night...enjoy.

I'm not too big into astrology either. Just have the song and date in my head. The date, from playing around with a program I was hunting Vernal Equinox stuff here in the office with.

Wow. Nice shot. Most folks wont get the Cassini division or even the B ring color variation, much less the color differential from the belts and zones.
Looks like you got a few moons as well.
What did you shoot it with?

Lately I’ve been mainly shooting (ccd) nebulae. With an occasional galaxy.
Here’s some.

Thanks for sharing the shot. Keep up the great work.

Wow. Flashbacks of my high school graduation from MPI (Mid-Pacific Institute) up Manoa Valley way.
Class of 1980 !!! (Yep – I still think Punahou sucks. Pac-5 rules….all that rivalry stuff.)

Most of us got “lei’d” so much we had them piled up to our eyes. Then we had to have them doubled over and worn on our heads and draped down the back of our necks. Smelled pretty cool. Most of the kids who had big families attending, you could only see our eyes peeping through a mess of flowers and Maile leaves.

As for the other “laid”. Not much of a chance of that. It was 1980, and a school that was 85% “traditional” Japanese kids.

Not to mention the destruction of the Aztec universe.

It is a 14" Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain Reflector with a LPI camera attached. Plus it is in the Twin Cities metro area (light-pollution). I have a DSI for it as well but haven't used it. I can barely pick up nebulae and galaxies through the scope, I've always assumed because of light pollution. I'll try out the DSI on some objects soon...

That shot was the first time I got moons in the image. I can always see the further out ones easily through the scope but none showing up in the image.

Those are some great pics as well.
