Interesting Aerial Images

I shot these images on my last trip to Vegas. My wife and I took a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon and took a bunch of pics. I also got a few pics out of the window on the plane back to Philly.

I thought these were cool and I'm considering designing a stained glass series based on aerial images.

With all the pilots on this forum, maybe somebody has an image or two that would be good inspiration for a window/panel design?

Those circular patterns out there in Kansas and other mid-western states made by irrigation equipment are pretty cool. I like doing oblique aerial photography in the early morning or late afternoon when the low angle of the sun really makes the topography stand out.

I think they look like circuit boards or a borg cube.:D

Sounds like you have an "eye" for photography ... I'd like to see some images if you were willing.

Very cool!:D

I like your idea of stained glass images.

I don't have many in digital form. I've only recently begun doing digital photography, but I'll put some up if I do anything worthwhile. Thanks, Chad.

Thanks Mr. Kenny. I'm hoping it would make a good theme for an exhibit.

My obsession with classic MB diesels and the shop forum will definitely add to my marketability. I have to sell the person behind the art.:D:D

Chad,

You can fire up Google Earth and look around the world for similar images. GE even lets you save images and you can reference them later.

Try looking around the Southern California border with Nevada along the banks of the Colorado river for more like the ones you already have.

I love sitting next to the window and looking at our beautiful country as I fly over it. New England is really ugly, to many people, out west now thats pretty.
