Forum Tune Up

Thanks to all the folks that have the animated avatars and huge signatures! I went to UserCP and turned them off and there's a noticable improvement in performance. Of course, it could be the "AMG" logo I slapped on the computer case too . . .

I've been running with signatures turned off for ages. I used to just kill annoying avatars selectively using the Adblock Plus extension in Firefox, but now I have them shut off entirely, too.

Try the "low graphics - Dialup style" from the Quick Style Chooser at the bottom of the page. Lean and mean!

A PC of the same price will crush a mac. Enough said.

Cardinal Rules, what good are they if you can't fool around with 'em?

Threads load for me faster than I can change the channel on my TV. Sounds like your internet connection is too slow or your computer is outdated....

Can I interest you in a fine Sony PC??

Although, It could be that your like 12,000 miles from the MShop server; being in Hawaii and all. Nothing you can do about that I guess.
