Well, just my $.02, but if I saw that plate on that car, I'd think the owner was at best lacking in taste, at worst an adolescent j/o.
But, hey, I'm not the Fuhrer of Good Taste.

I have several m/c helmets pastered with stickers. The simple test I always used was would I be embarrased with one if my mother or daughters thought it was crude or embarrasing to them. Works for me.

Was it Justice Brennan or Stewart who said that he counld't define pornography, but he knew it when he saw it?
Good taste. Elusive concept.
Again, just my $.02.

Jim, if you did the whole plate together, minus the space it could simply be BMWSUK or BMWS United Kingdom....

The person who reviews those probably owns a BMW.

IMHO that plate is in poor taste for anyone who isn't in high school.

I saw a pretty looking woman once, in a pretty looking white SLK. Her plate said 'WHY BMW'.

I think Jim's idea for a 6 letter personal plate in said configuration is not bad one, but I also agree that there is a high risk of backfiring.

But that's only hypothetical, since the DMV Nazis already moved it out of the question.
