The 4.3 liter motor is a good motor. Not great like the M119, but its a good motor, with most of its bugs worked out. Its got a fairly bulletproof trannie.

All of the Airmatic suspension issues were worked out by 2003, and in 2003, there was a styling update with the car. Interior and exterior were a bit more refined, and the Xenon headlights were added as options.

Are you buying this car from a dealer, or from private party? If you are buying from the dealer, make sure that if you have the factory navigation, that they include the latest navigation discs. The old ones didn't have my street on it, but the new ones include my street.

What happened to the S430? That could be had for under your price limit.

Hey, I thought you were a family Doc...

It's spelled anesthesiologist, not "anastegeologist"

The styling of the BMW doesn't flow to me.... Too busy, and too weird. I would take the S430 simply because of that....

A CL500 would be nice.

If you bought that, then I would be envious of you.
