Please remove me from this forum

How do I get removed from this forum? I wrote a silly thread about diesel price that did not make any reference to ANYONE. There was not insult of any type directed at any person or group. After three replies my thread was deleted. I see a lot of posts that are no less wasteful than what I did. If I can not poke some fun then remove me from this form.

Some cranky people over there in the diesel forum, but is this a serious question, or you want us to make you feel better?

The truth is, they're pissed off about 2 things they can't help: cost of fuel and cost of parts.

The parts thing they can at least rummage around salvage yards or try different websites, but the fuel issue is tough to get around. When someone brings it up for the 100th time in the forum, it reminds them, and they get pissed off. Add the fact that you're a newer member, and they crucify you.

or perhaps someone accidentally attached some pornography on the third post, we got some pretty interesting multi-taskers, so its bound to happen once in a while.

I guess the moral of the story is: No more fuel threads. Its too depressing, and the WVOers in more temperate climates like to gloat.

Don't make hasty decisions, without letting the dust settle first.

Give it 3 days....then decide on what you want to do. k?

You can simply go away. You won't read what is said (about you) and will sleep easier.
Or let the dust settle, and try to not offend dieselheads.
Or stay here in the OD forum--we all LOVE each other; no hositity here.

This is good advice. When I first started coming here I sometimes took things too hard. Its all really pretty puffy in OD. No need to be hurt.

The Diesel guys are more serious but very very knowledgable and very helpful if you have a problem to solve.

I'll bet that coffee looked like a fuel injector nozzle in operation! That's a great picture. Thanks for the laughs.

Tom, why must EVERYthing be related to SEX?! What a dirty mind you have. . . .

I guess that's why we all have such a great time here.

Don't leave, Nate. I'm guessing that you really don't want to anyway, or you would have just left without saying goodbye. Well, we don't want you to go, okay. Some of us have a sense of humor. For those who lack that attribute, just appreciate their technical knowledge and abilities and disregard their humorless responses.

You can't escape, I tried it on several occasions. The only way out is for Bill Wood to shut down the forum.
