Elephant with leg prosthesis...

A few years ago an elephant stepped on a land mine and had its leg amputated. Here is a website that shows the elephant still doing well with the leg prosthesis.

After reading the elephant story, I'm not wondering if there wasn't something they couldn't have done for that filly euthanized at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday....done surgery and then built a cart for her to move around on until her front legs healed...
