Don't watch this if you're scared of heights (like me)

Maximize the vid on your screen and hold onto something solid. I honestly had to turn this off mid way through because I have acrophobia and even a video terrorizes me.

I made it to about half way and it was getting scarier as it progressed.

Yikes - walk across a 3" bar 1000' above a canyon wearing a backpack and shooting a video. I wouldn't be very lucky with that.

Cool.

I don’t mind aircraft w/o doors. Open cockpits, no problem.

But I don’t think I’d make that walk past the first 10 feet.

I'd rip that canyon in the 530F in a heartbeat though. Gorgeous view.

DJ on the other hand, may very well be calling a travel agent as I type.

Thanks. My kids will love that video, for sure.

I kept thinking about the guys who BUILT that walkway in the first place! Hoowee! If there was ever a time in my life when I would have gone on THAT hike, it's long gone now!

i fell sorry about the guys who first discovered those holes in the cement. Imagine walking and all of a sudden the ground gives way.

That has to be one of the coolest videos of all time. I saw it linked on another forum last week & became entranced.
How in the heck did they build that thing? UFB!
I googled the name & spent about an hour reading as much as I could find.

Looks like they've found the lifespan of 3" thick concrete with minimal reinforcement.

Wooooahhh

That looks AWESOME!

I'd only do it with a carabiner hooked up to one of those lines....no way in hell like this guy(or girl) with no equipment whatsoever. Walking across that bar is crazy!

This info was copied from the OP's link:

"Originally built in 1901, this walkway now serves as an aproach to makinodromo, the famous climbing sector of El Chorro." (Southern Spain)

I'd rather walk on those paths than climb the bamboo scaffolds that the nest collectors climb for "bird nest soup".

Ignoring nettiquette and shamelessly bumping my own post. People that did watch it last week are still talking about it.
