I didn't read much of this story, but if Sharpton is actually that far behind on taxes that he owes, I hope he gets jail time along with a huge fine. It wouldn't be a first.

I wish I had the link, but I read a week or so ago about a man who detested that his taxes were paying for what he considered an unjust war. He stopped paying taxes the legal way.

It would be quite instructive to delve into Sharpton's background,which is as sleazy as you like.Hustling for the Gambino mob and shaking down fight promoters,among other well documented illegal activities.

Certainly any comparison to MLK is odious and disgusting,this hoople is only out for himself.

I heard the NPR show 'News and Notes' the other night, at least I think that's the name, it's about Af.Am. issues with usually an all black panel, though not always. They came down unanimously on Sharpton, saying if you're going to give the man grief on various issues, and you're getting big bucks from donors to do it, damn sure better stay current on your taxes.

They gave Snipes a li'l bit of grief too.
