http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=1248260-7-8&Category_Code=mtsighteclass
http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=EH300E6&Category_Code=mhlighteclass

You guys think the OEM's are worth it for this price?

Good price? Any other websites where I can find OEM Euro's?
I looked on ebay, but nothings for sale right now.

Thanks, ps2cho

Get the clear corners off ebay.

I got my Bosch Clear Corners for like 35 bucks shipped.

The euros, look for someone on the board to sell them. I got the real deal Hella Euros for 250 bucks from Zack (Boardmonger).

PM him, I think he may have a set.

Do you know if those Bekkers are Hella, Bosch, TYC, or Depo?

Bosch. Thanks, I'll throw a PM to that guy!

I have a left side clear Bosch brand new blinker, but I can't for the life of me find the Right side one!!!
Part # 1 305 233 936. Any way that I could find the right side one? I love how it looks. So much better than the cheap sh** ones I have right now!

I think I have a set of W124 Euros in my garage....

HAve you adjusted your fuel mixture?

My car had a bad misfire, and a half a turn of the mixture adjustment screw and half a turn on the EHA fixed my misfire.

Yep, done all the basics like that. My plan right now is to just hand the car over to Enrique in Tarzana until he fixes it! I managed to make some extra money over the last few months so I can afford it.

With the extra cash right now, I wanted to get rid of these horrible US spec lights. They are just terrible

You are in really good hands with Enrique. Last November I went down there to him, all the way from Grass Valley (between Sacramento & Reno, about 700 miles away) and stayed in a motel in Tarzana for a week while he worked on my car.

It came away perfect. I join the chorus of people who praise him. Best of all, you will be surprised at how modest his prices are. Just $80 ph, but I had a long talk with him. His philosphy as he explained it to me, is to only fix whats needs it, to do more would be to cheat the customers.

That is why he has so many of them. Also, he knows your car inside out.
He mostly works on old W116, W123 W124 and W126. Right guy to go to.

Justin and you are correct about the euro lights. You will love not only the look of them, but the extra brightness and the beam pattern on them.

I had him take a look at the car a few months back, and he recommended changing the O2 sensor and fuel distributor (or getting it refurbished) (which I got done as he recommended, but it didn't fix the misfire). He didn't charge me anything as he said he didn't fix anything! I was pretty happy to say the least. I just gotta figure out the right time as I gotta get my dad to take me and bring me back.

Great stuff on the headlights I shot that guy a PM, so we will see what happens.

Thanks guys!

LOL. PM me tomorrow, I should have my car back, and I can pull the passenger blinker and get the PN off it.

Does anybody know of a website where they sell Hellas? I haven't gotten a PM back from the guy on this forum and I would like to see the difference between the OEM Bosch and Hellas.

Thanks!

I got a pair of DEPO euros for my W201 for a fairly decent price. I forget the name of the place, but I remember it's based in Simi Valley, CA, and the contact person is named Ken, who is a really swell guy, if memory serves me right. Sure I would have loved to get lights from Bekkers, but they were just too darm expensive. I'd say I saved about half by going with DEPO, and the quality and fit is just as good as Hella or Bosch.

How do these look? Will they fit my 300TE with the Euro connector? (5pin IIRC?)
Seems a good price!

How do the Depo's compare to the OEM Bosch?

I had to jog through my memory and with a bit of help from Google and Ebay I found the name of the company. Here is their website: http://www.importvision.com/

Ask for Ken, he's very nice and helpful. I think I heard about him here way back when I was looking to upgrade my headlights. Someone said he's very helpful, and they weren't kidding. I called the place and don't remember if I asked for him or if he just picked up the phone, but he was nice and had very good custpomer service.

Here is a pic of my '90 190E with updated (DEPO) headlights. What I did (and what you can do too if you want a crisp look) before installing the headlights was went to Pep Boys and bought a roll of chrome tape (the wide sheet) and then masked the grey plastic parts surrounding the reflectors. Now you have to have patients to do this. What I did was use some paper and sort of "molded" to areas I wanted to tape up, then cut the shape and copied it to the chrome tape, then cut it to the desired shape so that it would have a decent fit and look all blended in. It was time consuming but worth it. The chroming of the headlight interior gives it a somewhat expensive and even more updated look. I think the Hella lights also have the gray plastic parts around the reflectors. Btw, I got this awesome idea from someone here!
