Ted Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor.

Just heard over the radio. I've got a bunch of inappropriate responses that I'll keep to myself from fear of omnipresent Karma.

Had a good neighbor with pretty much same thing. He was a good guy and it was sad to watch his decline. To make matters worse, the meds tended to make him mean and unreasonable. Was really rough for his wife and she was a nice lady. Sad case all round. TedK is not one of my favorite people, but I would not wish this on him or his family. Hopefully they have made some advances since my neighbor died and Ted's decline will be more peaceful.

I wouldn't vote for him if given the opportunity, but like BobK, I wouldn't wish cancer on him or his family.

No way. I understand why people have problems with Ted Kennedy, but he is a dedicated public servant. He and his staff give their constituents the very highest quality service. I used to tell my brother-in-law, one of the few Republicans in Massachusetts, that I would happily trade one of my state's senators for Senator Kennedy. I don't really say that anymore, because we have John Warner and Jim Webb representing us in the Senate, so we are pretty well set. Kennedy, though, is an all-time great legislator. A truly historic figure.

I hope he pulls through.

I would say over 75% of Republican Senators, if asked, would say that if they needed something done that required a bi-partisan effort, EK was the FIRST Democrat they would call.

I do too.

Time for him to retire immediately, collect his pension and ride off into the sunset.

In a 1967 Oldsmobile 88 sedan.
