Our money is all the same color too, this makes it hard to tell what's what. We need different colors for various denominations.

The new Monopoly-esque money is easy enough to discern (20's green, 10's red, 5's purplish).

You'd think it would be easy enough to cut a different corner off a bill or something for the visually impaired. I wonder how ridges or raised braille-like bumps would hold up? I'd think if they went the different sized route that there'd have to be a quite a range of sizes in order to be able to tell what bill you've got if you don't have anything to compare it to.

Canadian money had different colors for different demominations. It's a great idea, try it.

Doesn't help with blind people. I think raised dots would be best as it would probably be cheaper than reconfiguring the presses for different sized bills. Also have you seen UK money? the large denomination bills are HUGE. They also dropped the paper 1 pound note.

What we need are smart chips in the bills that will talk like one of those Hallmark cards...

FIVE DOLLAR BILL: " I AM A FIVE DOLLAR BILL, DON'T SPEND ME ALL IN ONE PLACE!"

TWENTY DOLLAR BILL: " I AM A TWENTY DOLLAR BILL, YOU CAN GET A GALLON OF GAS WITH ME"


HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL : "I AM A HUNDRED! YOU GOT SOME MONEY IN YOUR POCKET NOW!"


etc, etc...


We could even have celbrity voices like in the NYC taxi cabs.

"HELLO, I AM ALEC BALDWIN AND I AM YOUR $20 BILL FOR TODAY"

possibilities are endless....
