This is horribly messed up. Unless the author has his movies in public libraries or in the kid's DVD section at Wal-mart the fed govt has no business deciding whether the movies are obscene. That's up to the paying customer to decide, not some government-picked jury that doesn't want to see this kind of stuff. These religious freaks drive me nuts sometimes.

But, what I find interesting is how to characterize those that agree with this position. Are we "liberal" because we don't want the government involved in our personal decisions? Or are we "conservative"?

To me, it's a conservative position...........the liberal would favor the regulation of the public.

But, it's the conservatives that are driving this game...............

How do you get more liberal with more regulation?

A federal judge who acknowledged maintaining his own publicly accessible website featuring sexually explicit photos and videos Thursday called for an investigation of his own conduct.

Alex Kozinski, 57, chief judge of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, asked a court ethics panel to initiate the proceedings after The Times reported Wednesday that the judge had posted lewd photos and videos on his personal website.

Kozinski was presiding over a closely watched obscenity trial in Los Angeles federal court when he acknowledged the website.

"I will cooperate fully in any investigation," Kozinski said in a statement.
