For business or pleasure? Depends on how long you'll be there and what you like to do. It should be a blast, though, no matter WHAT you're into. There's something for everybody. I'm just about overdue for another visit to sin city myself.

They'll teach you how, if you want them to. If you have a car, you could drive out to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, or up to the mountains where they have sking. They really do have a lot to do there. You should have a blast.

I went there on business and thought it was a weird and fake kind of place. Of course I have no interest in gambling, as I am a pessimist by nature - so it held no interest to me.

Vegas is a blast! It's much bigger in person that it looks in pictures. Rent a convertible if your going to rent a car, there is so much to look at. Careful driving at night on the strip. You'll get stuck in traffic for an hour! If you're not gonna rent, don't worry their are plenty of taxi's. Don't stay in the old part of Vegas, that's where all the bums are, it's the gross end of the city. Stay over by the Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Monte Carlo, Belagio, ect. area. I'm not much of a gambler but I enjoy $5 blackjack. I played for 8 hours straight on $100 once and ended with $115! Make sure to tip your drink lady really good the first time and she'll visit you on a regular basis. Order whatever you want to drink. It's free top shelf liquor! If your into playing the slots. Stick with 25 cent video poker, they pay out the best. If you like rides, visit the Stratosphere. The line may take an hour but the view and the rides are worth it. Almost any show in Vegas is good. Ask around and see what is the current must see show.
Have Fun!
Adam

You will have fun, even if you don't gamble. Things to see could be Hoover Dam. the Ferrari store at Wynn casino, fountains at the Belagio, the canopy light show in old Las Vegas at night,(take a taxi to and from your hotel to the Golden Nugget (don't wander to far from the Golden Nugget) a chopper ride over the grand canyon(expensive), Try to stay at good hotel they are worth the extra money(Belagio is my favorite it will grow old gracefully) A good show is worth every penny. Take a taxi from the airport to your hotel and back to airport. You will have a lot of fun. Good Luck.
