Finding a smoke shop in So-CAL

What would be the best way to find a smoke shop in southern california?

Anybody here know of one?

I am almost convinced my misfire is vacuum related now and I gotta get this done before doing anything else.

What does the economy gauge read at idle? My 91 300SE at times idled with the economy gauge reading in the middle of the band when the AC compressor was engaged. Needless to say I wasn't happy with it. New injectors, new head gasket, new manifold gaskets and no end of tweaking couldn't get it any better than 3/4 toward the black end and idle still not close to new car smoothness so I gave up on it. The dealer wanted to replace the fuel distributor which I probably deserved for free after paying for two hours of diagnostics. In retrospect, a new EHA thingy might have been the answer. Through all that you couldn't tell the engine was running above 2000 rpm. Go figure.

It fixed it ALMOST. Its still happening but its much much better. MPG increased....I lost power for some reason...but I may need to tweak the mixture...Its so much better though without a doubt. The engine is still surging a little bit with the misfire.

He replaced a hose on the ICV.... (I replaced them all in the very beginning...so now I'm going back over everything since he replaced something that I already did).

I've used the car cleaner at least 3 times.

Interesting, my 300E gasser is in the shop for the same thing right now. It surges and misses at idle some times but runs perfectly above idle. Fuel economy is good at an average of 25mpg highway and city mixed. A couple months ago I was having a problem where it was missing badly from a start and it ended up being one bad plug.

PS I'm in So Cal too... where exactly are you looking for a smoke shop, I know of a few in OC.

On the way back from the shop, I got 23.3mpg on the freeway with AC and a few miles of stop + go....so its MUCH better now! Just got off work so I'm gonna fiddle with the mixture and try to get some of this lost power back.

I tell you what though, Enrique at MB Motors, Tarzana was excellent. I'm noticing he fixed a few other things which I never mentioned -- 1 was the erratic speedo cable (it would bounce a little) and its stopped doing it! He is awesome and very honest. I highly recommend him myself.

Yep, I'm in Laguna Beach btw! So reel off those Smoke Machine shops!

Now I'm confused; do you want a place to buy tobacco products, or rent a smoke machine?
BTW why take your car all the way to Tarzana? Franks in Laguna or Rubens in Dana Point (where my car is) have good reps.

But back to smoke shops, there is a very good cigar store in Dana Point on Coast Hwy. There is a smoke shop that sells all kinds of water pipes and such in San Juan, it used to be called Mardo's but was sold a couple years back.

Lol I need a shop that can eliminate any vacuum leaks!

My original post mentions vacuum leaks...

I have not heard of either Franks or Rubens...Do you have their phone #'s that I could call em up and ask my question?
