Same to you.

What all is everyone doing today on their day off? I had to replace some rotted broken off fence posts, fun!

Preparing to go pick up my new car. Anyone know if I'm allowed to carry on a CB antenna? Won't fit in my checked bag...

Goofing off with my granddaughter. We went to a 4th festival in Fowler.

I scored a vhs copy of Bullitt at the Library book and movie sale. We also had some fresh squeezed lemonade....Wow!....best I ever had.

Yeah.. we r oblivious of 4th of july but I forgot our loved ones being killed every day in the war zones (Iraq and Afghanistan); I worry if I can a afford a $4.79 per gallon Diesel to fill up of my beloved Diesels. Fortunately, I found a free disposal or used canola(wvo) at my work site and have been using filtered 50/50 wvo since May 2008; our jobs being stripped from us and the mortgage coundrum. I henestly do not see reason to celebrate at all...IMHO

Working evening shift. Day 5 of a 12 day string. Get to do an 11 day string for the end of the month. Such is the life of a tech guy in a downsizing shop.
Still, I agree with Victor Davis Hanson:

Mrs MTI & I our celebrating the anniversary of our "first date" 12 years ago. I spent the day swapping a stereo into the 16 valve . . . found $11.03 stashed away in the center console ashtray (2 $5 bills in the tray clip) and loose change ($1.03) in the console, under where the ashtray unit sits.

Since we grill almost every day anyway, we ate our J4 burgers at 5 Guys. Then went to see Get Smart, which was a pretty funny movie.

Watched the local fireworks show, then set off some of my own. Wish I had stayed in Athens last night... most of my friends drove there today...

I went south and hung out with some friends, watched the Fuego Works on t.v. and driving back laughed my butt off listening to the Comedy chanel on Sirius radio.
