This article was posted on another site by a trusted older member. This is an extremely interesting article about adding acetone to your gas/diesel to increase mileage.

Acetone does a very nice number on certain types of plastic. I would not do this.

Does anyone besides me get a creepy crawly feeling whenever the page mentions something along the lines of "Something your XXX company doesn't want you to know"?

I did some research last night, and i found quite a few people that said it increased mileage, not to mention made their car's run smoother.
Google actone and gas mileage interesting stuff. Of course there are some folks that saw no benefits, but it seems most did. I'm going to give it a shot.
