When someone does something stupid, I point to my sunglasses, and mouth "WATCH OUT DUMBA$$".

Really irritates people! Especially women!

I point at bad drivers also... it pisses them off! Good!

Thats nothing, I'm always flipping people off. I have a cut throat take no prisoners style with all the other retards on the road. I'm surprised my dash hasn't melted yet with all the crap that comes out of my mouth.

I had some moron today who tried to pass me in the gutter, because I guess I wasn't going fast enough. So I moved over, blocked him and totaly screwed him. If I had one of my beaters I really would have been and SOB and waited until he was almost along side me. I have screwed over a few people REAL good with my beaters.

I get all my bad habits from New Haven, everyone is nuts. I hate that waste land, hope it sinks below LIS.

The California Bird Flew

Even though I have now been back in the Golden State for two years, the contemporary culture here still continues to hold me in absolute amazement – to the point of taking note of many everyday events that I would guess the natives consider to be simply “life as usual.”

Not long ago, I was stopped in my car – which remains registered out of state due to severe economic impact but frowned upon by California officials – in the left-turn lane of a Bay-Area, main road while waiting for opposite-direction traffic to pass before my turning onto a cross-street. The traffic was not light, but I didn’t mind the wait as I was well entertained by the passers-by on the sidewalk, smiling at total strangers and occasionally verbalizing with a California “Hi;” although, I fear the substance-deficient “Hi” would have rapidly retreated if a passer-by had ever asked for a sizable, monetary helping-hand.

After lingering for a short time, I noticed a car arrive at the intersection on that same cross-street and wait to cross the main road on which I was waiting. As soon as the main-road traffic had cleared, I started my turn when suddenly the same car to my left lurched out directly in front of me, cutting me off, and causing me to abruptly stop momentarily in the middle of the intersection to avoid the two of us becoming one with each other.

It was a clear day in Sunny California – for were it not, one might believe this was Oregon, where changes of weather occur – and I was afforded an excellent view of the invading driver – a woman appearing to be somewhere in her upper twenties, with a typical California tan and long blond hair. I wasn’t close enough to notice if her features were genuine or self-imposed, but she was the perfect representative of the trendy Californian; the only thing lacking was the ever-so-present cell phone. I suppose some might say she was attractive – for she did command attention but only to disappoint after the first glance – but nonetheless, in her eyes and on her face was a coldness accompanied by a severity that could only reflect a dismal life. (Maybe life in plastic isn’t fantastic, as Barbie would have us believe).

And as this California girl, in her silver carriage, smugly passed with total disregard for her actions and her own safety as well as mine, she gestured a greeting to me – with her middle finger. I couldn’t help but think to myself, “Women in America have finally achieved equality!”

A True Story

That was very well written, I believe you deserve a round of applause for it.

Best thing to get rid of tailgaters: diesel smoke. Just let out a nice big black puff and they will back off! I need to install an injector in the exhaust..doing it with the engine probably isn't good for it.

It always works. Occasionally, you get a tailgater who decides to get so close, they can't even see your trunklid (always a monstrous SUV of some sort). That's when I let it go.

They back way off...I think because they don't see where the smoke is rising from. It bounces over their hoods, and for all they know, something may have blown up under-hood. It's amusing, to say the least, when they suddenly drop back 400 yards behind in just a few seconds passing.

Oh yeah! And a way to REALLY eliminate the problem of tailgaters. Drive a 350SD with an oil consumption rate of 100 miles to the qt. Remember that scene from Bruce Almighty, where all traffic just sort of made a path for Jim Carrey's character? Well, that's probably the closest thing to what that ailing diesel engine provided for me in its last few miles.

There was a time a few days ago, I was on the right lane and there was an on ramp that was merging but to its own lane alongside mine. Here's an Accord that wanted to get in but I had no intention to stop him from doing so, he just could not get in even if I left enough space , so in his frustration he flipped me off through his driver side mirror.

His lane became vacant and it was along my exit also, so I took it as he merged even more inside the lanes, and as I drove past I could not resist the urge to rest my head on my hand, politely returning the gesture.

At another instance, there was a pick up driver in front of me who wanted to make a left into a left turning lane but the car in front was stopped (congested traffic). He could not hold it anymore and started cussing and swearing at the driver in front, even though there was nothing they could do about it (as if he owned the road and it was his privilege to make a left any time). Then I saw him starting to flip off the car in front. Obviously that did not resolve anything

Don't even start me on aggressive women drivers. I had to report a black Infiniti G35 coupe that intentionally and rudely blocked me every time I wanted to pass, and sneered when I was finally able to and looked at her in anger. So I called 911 and registered her license plate as a reckless driver, sent them her whereabouts, make and model (of the car), etc. 5GCA810

Surprisingly, this time, the only finger I moved was to dial the emergency number...

I was thinking more along the lines of Uncle Buck.......

My turbo went once and every time I came to a hault I left a cloud of smoke in my wake.

The Best Revenge

When someone really pisses me off on the road, the best revenge is to make kissey faces at them. It will drive any male absolutely nuts! If your looking to get even do your best to make them mad,,,, blowing kisses works, its sounds crazy until you try it and the other person is hopping up and down in their seat calling you names that aren't so nice. BH

Try pointing to your sunglasses and mouthing the words, "watch out dumb a$$" then point at them and laugh! This makes people furious! Good!
If someone really wants to get a "case" of roadrage and get violent against me, I do have my license to carry my Glock .45, and I do...
