Do you have daughters?

What do you think of Jamie Lynn Spears as a role model?

Please, no "old enough to bleed" type comments.

What a sweet little girl ... she's having so much fun!!

It's easy to have a great time when "the help" can give you a break as needed.:D:D

Oh yeah ... as far as a role model for my daughter ... I'd hope that the positive family upbringing that my kids are getting (at least that we're trying to provide:) ) will override "role models" in the media.

I mean cummon, gimme a break

"I would love being the soccer mom," she said. "They don't have soccer down here, but I would love being the softball mom driving the kids around."

Less than ideal mommy.

I am reminded of James Carville's colorful description of Paula Jones.

Perfect role model!
Marrying the paper mill worker? I'll give it 18-24 months and she'll be outa there, back to Tinseltown.

She is starting motherhood kind of late in her life....but this is Mississippi.

And he's not her cousin. Marrying outside of the family is kind of risque.

Was it Larry TCG that said his 14 yo daghter was mouthing off at the dinner table and he was going to slap her but her kids were at the table...

If she was exposed to the true rigors of child care without her shall we say, enhanced support network, she would not be singing such a happy tune. I'm sorry to say that her carefree attitude plays right into many young girls naive fantasies about motherhood with all of the fun and none of the responsibilities. As a public figure, she is sure to inspire more girls to do the same thing...

That really breaks my heart. I feel so sorry for that kid. It's too bad you don't have to qualify in some way before you can become a parent. If you did, there would be a lot less people in the world. The ones that WERE born would have at least a little better chance of growing up well-adjusted, happy, and productive members of society.

I'm sure the agency set her up with an excellent aupair.:D

Perfect argument for pro-Choice....

Some years ago, a coworker of mine said it in a crude, but effective way.
If you have a sone you worry about one penis.
If you have daughters, you worry about them all.

Medmech 07-15-2008 09:43 AM

The only ideal role models for children should be their parents, at least that's the way I like it to maintain quality control.

Idolotor 07-15-2008 02:03 PM

Who's calling her a "roll model"?

Not anyone I know... :confused::mad::P
