Gotta Brag <<vanity plate

I went online to see if I could get a vanity plate I liked. My wife's relatives
are here. We were all brainstorming. When pushed into a different thought
channel I came up with this EXEMPTD. It covers SO many things.

1. The obvious..here in CA diesels are exempt from that damn smog test
EXEMP-TD.
2. I'm NOT a fan of the nanny governmet we have, my dream is to be EXEMPT-ED from all sumptuary laws.
3. I resent many mandatory compliance issues. I'm a hardcore Libertarian.... EXEMPTED

Yeah there is no word in reailty, but I thought this was a hoot, and surprised it was still available. I bought it

I doubt they would let that pass through. There are some words they don't allow and "exempt" is probably one they will frown on.

Frankly it'd be worth getting a black jeep just for the "BAA BAA" one. That's... extremely clever

I never understood why so many people volunteer to send extra money to the state government. It is not all that expensive but to me its the principle of the thing - they take enough money already.

If I really need to make a statement there's always the bumper sticker.....

Vanity plate

Ken300D, I agree with you to some extent, however it's only 41.00 per year, and I don't have to use solvents and a hair dryer to get rid of it.

Jeremy5848, Erm it IS a TD. That's what makes the joke.

Years ago I knew a guy near here in the Silicon Valley in Mensa that had a '68 Dodge Coronet station wagon and he got the license plate "NONE" issued to him

He thought it would get him out of parking tickets, but it didn't.

It actually got him a whole lot of grief in all sorts of other ways.

The DMV in California denied my app. this year for BMW SUK

"Offensive to community deceny and moral standards "

WHAT community???!! Tijuana Mexico???!!

"Dee8go" is the first one I ever had. I hate paying VA the extra $10 a year it costs, but what the hay! It's fun and $10 ain't what it used to be . . . .

In Virginia I had a "Tobacco Heritage" plate with the letters EMFZMA. It cost $25 extra a year, but was well worth it.
