The Dark Knight

Who has seen the Dark Knight? I went to see it yesterday and thought it was pretty good. I think Heath Ledger might get an Oscar for his performance. This is his last chance, of course, but he was really good in the part.

It was very intense and maybe a little bit too long, but I still liked it a lot. Who else has seen it?

Two hours and fifty minutes long not including beginning trailers!

That pretty much shoots a day...

Yeah, I tried to go earlier, but it was sold out for that show. It was dinner time by the time I got out.

I did notice that people seem to like going to the movies and yakking loudly. Why is it so hard for some people to turn off their damned cell phones when they go into places like movie theaters? When I hear one go off, I just want to grab it from its owner and fling it across the room.

Even though it would be nice to see in the theatre but if it is that long, I think I may wait for the DVD release and see it in the comfort of my home.

Something along those lines is the next purchase. What I have now is like a 32 inch, flat screen and I already have the 1000 watt surround sound installed. In a few months I am going to go for about a 37" Flat HD, cannot go much bigger given the room where I have the TV set up, it is not that large. The surround, when turned up is already overwhelming

I really enjoyed it, but I agree on the length.

They could have done all the Joker stuff, but leave the Two Face conclusion for the next movie. Kind of like the cliff hanger of The Empire Strikes Back.

Your right, but that leaves room for another villan to come in.
