Thnik I'm gong to stop drinking coffee

I wanted an ice coffee about an hour ago. I went down to the coffee shop near work and bougt one. They charged me $2.50 for a stuipid cup of coffee. I figue I spend about four dollors on coffee a day, so $160 a month, and thats too close to 2,000 a year that I could do other things with like adding 40 more cars to my insurace policy etc.

Don't even *think* about trying Meth. Even one time.

Stay away from hookers as well, they can give you stuff that costs money to treat...

Nope, I think I'm one of very few people from Eugene who has never experiemnetd with any kind of drugs. I like to know what is going on at all times, and I guess I enjoy my life enough to not have to escape. I do enjoy a nice beer or glass of wine once in a while, but I know that an over drinking leads to not feeling well, so I just don't go there.

I buy a 39 oz can of Maxwell House for like 6 bucks, and make many many pots of coffee from that using the same coffee pot I've had for 11 years. For iced coffee, I usually make a cup hot in the morning, drink it, make a second cup, drink half of it, then stick it in the fridge before work. When I get home, I have iced coffee.

Brew your own, let it cool, put it in the fridge ... later just pour and add ice. Then you can stop at the coffeehouse every once in a while. I personally don't mind spending a lot on coffee (well, mine is only $1.65/day), but if I decided I did, brewing at home, is a MAJOR money saver. Or you could even go with instant coffee and be really cheap.:o

Makes $5/gallon diesel sound cheap.

Yeah, but diesel gives you bad breath, and it's hard to pour it in the cup with those greasy, awkward pump handles.

I finally started making my own. Couldn't tell you how much I'm saving, probably no more than half.

I did exactly that! Finally. While I love coffee all year, ice coffee in the summer is definitely one of my stronger vices. A couple larges from DD at $2.85 a pop, 7 days a week adds up fast. Even $2.15 each at Tim Horton's is too much. I do enjoy good coffee but can still slum it and just go with one of those big cans of Chock Full O'Nuts pre-ground here at work and save a bundle every week.

I haven't stooped to instant yet, though.:)

Do what I do. Buy a large coffee for $2, drink it at the coffeeshop while reading mercedesshop, refill it, take it home, reheat in the microwave the next day. It'll cost you $1/day for coffee, just like the old days, and it's better than truck stop coffee.

That's one luxury I will not part with. I take my own coffee maker with me when I travel.
