PS Actually, I think we're really all Africans, but I guess we don't want to admit that quite yet.
I have no qualms about that if its proven substantially, there are still gray areas on that theory and its not that clear cut as it seems.

Said and done, no one is pure..... we all mixed before and mix now and its all for a good reason, its to make our genepools rich.

Yep, the heritage is nearly irrefutable and from independent numerous lines of scientific inquiry. Denying our relatedness is like denying the theory of evolution through natural selection. It's become so well established that denial alone is insufficient proof. Deniers need to have a counter-argument taht is equally complling as the current paradigm. Else, they're not worth wasting time listening to them. Tell to go trisect an angle and get back to me.

Humans are so frail, they hold on to myths and figments of their imagination about purity, the very word is antithesis to the existence of humanity.

I'm from Durban, South Africa. A city with a large Indian population. Most of my collleagues in the IT department were local Indian's (as opposed to ones from India itself) and their accent was strong enough that you still had to listen carefully to what was said, especially when they were talking fast. Almost like machine guns

Really weired part about all that was we had a scottish sub-editor on the paper, who was rather fond of the bottle. His accent was thick enough at the best of times and later in the shift it would become so difficult to tell what he was saying that my Indian colleagues, apparently assuming that because I was white I could better understand him better, would try to get me to "interpret" him for them. When in fact I could hardly understand him myself.

I have heard (don't know if it's true) that the term "asian" in British English is more often than not used to refer to a person from the subcontinent.

I had a Vietnamese friend in college who generally specified "east asian" in reference to the people and culture most of us just call "asian".
