Thanks for that link. Nice mogs. I had even looked at at least one of those for purchase but almost all mogs are outside my price range. They are clearly better off-road campers than the Fuso. Most of the ones in my price range were older models which have pretty low top speeds making them less appealing for on-road use.
I know some people have considered Unimogs as world traveling campers but turned them down because they are more rare than other 4wd vehicles (including MB 4wd traditional trucks like the 911) making parts harder to get. I've seen lots of pictures of the Mog that went on a recent Paris-Peking venture and it did a lot of work pulling the 2wd vehicles thru some bad spots.

The one near the bottom of the page with a truck camper on the back is what I have in mind for the Fuso.

Thought I'd update this thread with a picture of what I've got so far. I've done a few more things since the picture was taken. Installed the spare tire between the cab and service body, am in the process of putting a cargo rack on top of the cab and put receiver hitches front and back so the 10k winch mounted on a receiver winch holder can be moved from back to front. I had to raise the bed to the level of the top of wheel wells to get the camper in and cut a section out of one of the back compartments on the service body.

Very cool, kerry. I appreciate the updates, with any luck I'll need them for future reference.
