Samsung Instinct?

Anybody here have a Samsung Instinct? It looks pretty cool, but Ihave not actually seen one in person nor do I know anybody who has one.

If you do, what do you think of it?

It looks like an I Phone. I'd rather have an I Phone, but I'm not willing to switch to AT&T to get one. My Treo's screen is cracked and I'm debating whether to try to fix it or to just get another phone.

It looks like the interface works something like the I Phone. It seems to be all touch screen.

I went with the Palm Centro since it has an actual keyboard. I have an iPod Touch and am fine with the touch-screen only on it, but I would prefer to have keys on any phone I will be suing for an extended period of time. Just a personal preference...

Can't say that I know anything about the Samsung. The new iPhone looks interesting and cheaper than the 1st gen. I'm already saddled with AT&T so I might go check one out. I'm generally all for expending all of the use out of the first phone before replacing it but my poor 2.5yo Nokia has seen better days and is primarily held together with black duct tape. During break at the last distributor management forum all the guys are texting and talking on their latest and greatest and I pull out this chewing gum & chicken wired thing. It might finally be time to thank it for its time and put it out to pasture. I could really use the connectability, too.

I'm not sure that I would like the touch screen in lieu of actual keys for typing, but it looks good. I'd like to try one out to see what it's like.

I'm with you, Swamp. I prefer to wear one completely out before replacing it.

Oh, no, I didn't ever get it, Justin. I didn't know for sure if you sent it. I've been limping along with my broken screen, but was getting to the point of having to do something soon. It's getting harder to read.

I will look around my office then.... We have been having problems with stuff not making it to its destination.

I have bid on a replacement screen for my Treo. If I get it, I'll just fix it. Otherwise I've just about decided to go for the Instinct. It's not, technically a smartphone like the Treo, but I don't need to run software on it anyhow.

I bought a couple of Instincts today. I'll let you know what I think of them as soon as I have them. I've been salivating over this phone since July and finally gave in to the impulse since my Treo has now become virtually unreadable and a replacement Treo was more than I wanted to pay.
Finally, I'll have the high speed wireless internet and a GPS device that is always current, too. I have high hopes for this thing!
