Yea, this is why I avoid PDA's in public...it attracts attention, and you never know what nutjob might be in your immediate vicinity... sad...but I guess that's just the way it is? :\

The way I see it, if no one ever does it, it won't ever get any kind of acceptance in the first place. I don't want to be a second class citizen, scared to show any type of affection towards my man when other people are around. Everyone else does it. Hell if we can't get married we should at least have SOMETHING right?

It does not HAVE to be sad, it does not have to be 'just the way it is'. I won't accept that.

If you want to gain acceptance, get a girlfriend. If you want to attract ridicule and "nutjobs" then do whatever it is you do. I would never ridicule anyone as long as they show some restraint. I might mumble something under my breath, but I'd keep it to myself.

Unfortunately, many public areas such as parks and highway rest areas have been overrun by gays that show no restraint or respect. That should not be tolerated or accepted, it's just foul behavior.

BTW, when I say nutjob I mean someone who could possibly become violent. What someone says doesn't bother me.

Not really, just the flip side of the coin. There is a time and place for show and tell, but in public show some restraint and respect for yourselves and others.
