20 acres and a missile silo...

How cool is this!?!? A 2000 square foot home on 20 acres (an additional 85 acres available) in upstate NY'S Adirondack State Park. With a couple of bonuses... how about your own run way, an underground (former launch control center) contemporary finished interior 2 story structure, 40' diameter containing 2300 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bath luxury home, and a 20,000 square foot missile silo..Silo climate constant/approx. 58 degree earth ambient temperature. 52' diameter x 178' deep / 9 floor steel superstructure. Entire steel superstructure hangs from gigantic spring suspension system designed to absorb shock of a direct nuclear hit. Unlimited possibilities.

Not really too bad for 2.3 million.

That is better than your own bat cave.... as long as our enemies are aware it has been decommissioned .......

There are numerous silos for sale, most are raw concrete, some like the NY one have been remodeled. Too bad most are in the sticks.

Man oh man would that be a cool place to have. Even have your own dragstrip. I've got to see what I can scrape together. Time to check the change jar!

DoD? Can't be any worse than trying to deal with service at HD or Lowes.
