Lbs. a Plenty....

I read that too.....
Gained thirty too.....Don't know where it came from but it came fast...Hell, I'm blaming the b/p medication.

Never had that before either....

It's a ***** to get older and you are officially dead flat out of excuses......and possibly time too unless you do something about it.

How's everyone doing with their "life style" changes? Any more drops in poundage?

Three pounds down since yesterday morning. Tonight I'm going running and lifting weights. Once I get back into my routine, I know I'll be okay.

Do you run out in that Virginny heat/humidity? Ain't easy. I could only run after 9pm when living in Alexandria.

I'm still moving slowly at 184... It'll be time to add some exercise soon.

Thought I'd dredge this up. This morning I weighed myself and I'm at 178. I've been doing a 45 min stint on the eliptical machine every morning now for about a month. The extra exercise is making me pretty hungry so I've actually been eating more...

How often are you eating? You are probably letting your blood sugar spike, which makes you really hungry.

Try an apple or banana right after exercising, they are surprisingly filling/satisfying. Plus when it comes time for your lunch you will eat less.

I am trying to lose 30bs as well.

good luck

Don't even use artificial sweetener its dangerous for you body, instead use brown sugar...Way healthy for you...

Geesh...I wish I had seen/paid attention to this one earlier...you got a 4-month head start...

I'm currently at 272.55 (5'5'') and since the divorce, I've been looking to get back into the exercize routine (Yeah, right! 7 boxes of Girl Scout "thin mints" sitting in my office at work... )

Now that I have the two digital transmitters on-line and humming along, I can spend a little on "me-time" and start getting this gut/butt/thighs off from my frame...

Thanks for the push start KarTek!

BTW, the last doctor's visit showed a BP of 131/89...cholesterol is in the 290s...but I think that's coming down w/the weight...

I eat a regular 3 times a day - light meals with healthy shacks between. I've just been generally hungry since exercising, not big urges to eat.

Welcome aboard MG! Put those GS cookies in the freezer and get them out of sight! Loosing that extra poundage will do wonders for your health.

Talk about a headstart, Mistress has us all beat, she looks terrific!

I'm doing fine. There's nothing to eat over here. I'd have to get in my car and drive somewhere in order to eat stuff I ought not to eat. Fortunately, I'm too lazy to do that . . . .

We’re all on the "common sense diet" around here.

Just knowing that the hole below our nose is considerable larger than the one between our legs, has pretty much got us covered on the dietary issues.
