Is black powder and pyrodex still good after 34 years?
Going through my stuff i happen to find some old pyrodex and black powder my Dad bought in the early 1970's.
Is this stuff any good or is it really unstable? How do i dispose of it? Sprinkle on the lawn or chat driveway?

I don't think it becomes unstable but I always play it safe when it comes to BP, I empty it into a bucket of water.

I know nothing of Pyrodex but a barrel of Dupont FFG black powder from 1908 or so still serves me when I shoot.
