Gas is around $2.90 here. Time to buy that 6.9.

RUG up the street is 2.419. Premium 2.819.
RUG in NYC over the weekend 2.799 at almost every station I passed.
Fact check ( boy I hate that term): Jersey has one of the lowest gas excise taxes in the country.

I can't speak for that high falutin' premium stuff , but I did fill up the Odyssey and Wrangler last night at $2.49 for RUG.

On the HHO side my father is all bent since he's still sitting on a few hundred gallons of $4.50+ oil. What'll really stick in his craw is how much more it'll drop before he even needs to buy more.

Oil getting cheap is bad, so it's still Bush's fault.

Why is that bad? If oil gets expensive when we are having an economic crisis, it would be much worse. Recovery would be way, way further out, if at all. Right now, if all things are going well, we MIGHT see the start of recovery in a couple of years. If oil goes up to the $100 plus level, well.......

I was paying 4.99/gal for diesel three or four months, today I paid 2.99/gal.
God bless you George Bush.

Yes, it's good in the short term, but bad in the long term. It hurts alternative energy development and when oil skyrockets again, we'll be hurting more as a result. Plus it's bad for the climate.

I think Bush had as much to do with it as you or I.

If we don't get over this mess, alternative energy, oil skyrocketing (if it happens again), the climate won't matter. So yes, I'm good with short term gains.
