Jaguar XJ-S

One of my customers (Honda of Bloomington, MN) has a '93 Jag XJ-S w/50K miles FS, asking $2,000.

Interior is very nice, paint is checked, very little rust. Runs well according to the lot guy. Battery is dead right now however, should I run or walk?

Ive got a V12 in my fleet.....

Its an excellent car, other than the fact its thirsty, and it needs like 12 quarts of oil at an oil change... Its synthetic too, so it gets $$$.

This is a car that should be worth $2k all day, unless it's actually on fire, which is just a 35% chance. So, if you buy and become bored, you should be able to dump her onto some optimistic sap.

Next step is to find a good battery to allow you to hear the ol' girl run. I'm dying to suggest a compression test...

Weren't they pretty fast? Top speed around 145? Pretty good handling also if I remember. Easily worth 2g's.

Does the back window roll down? Top come off, targa style?
