help finding a 3m product

I need something that is made by 3m to cover a cars missing(because it was broken into) glass. I see it at the junkyard all the time in the insurance claim pen. All I know is its like a heavy duty shrink wrap that is adhesive on one side.

trash bags are not an option

they make a product for bodyshops that is clear .it is pretty big though.it is made to cover the whole car and you just cut out the area you are repairing under.saves alot of time over papering off the whole car.don't know if this is what your after but worth a try.you might stop by a bodyshop they might give you a piece big enough to cover your empty window hole

is it the stuff you lay on the carpet when you don't want to ruin the carpet for one reason or another? Transparent, sticky on one side, movers use it?

When my driver's side window was missing, I bought a sheet of clear plastic from a crafts store- the type of material that goes over a framed poster.

It is fairly stiff stuff, so i cut it so that it fit in the frame of the window. Used an exacto knife I think.

worked great for a few days.
