I eat Haagis every time I get a chance, love that stuff when cooked right with single malt. Actually Asafoedita goes well with lentils when used sparingly and with combo of other spices, wrongly used it tends to overpower and smell bad. Asafoedita also helps in digesting lentils which our stomachs usually have a hard time otherwise.

I'm sure there is a way to cook it in such miniscule amounts of asafoetida that not a molecule would escape to offend my sense of smell.

It has to be done right........btw if you are ever offered food by Kashmiri Indians, stay away, they use Asafoedita in almost everything and in copious quantities, they even put that stuff on freshly cut apples totally ruining the fruit.

At the end of the day, its about physique, after all its all physical. There are strong Indians but then sadly they don't participate. Most of the nation has poor diet, vegetarians and foolishly so. There is no place for grass eaters in sports. I just witnessed the heavyweight wrestling, the German opponent was tossed out like a wafer by his Russian opponent. Thats how sports is, physical fitness is everything in the end.
