I just wanted to share images, taken yesterday, of my friend's super clean black on black 1993 300SE, with a few personal touches of his own:

Beautiful! Obviously not a Boston Benz......:-)
(I guess the palm trees gave it away....) Imagine changing bulbs in this thing? |
Excellent photos and a very cool car.
What are the black things on the headlights? |
Thanks to all!
The black covers on the headlight lenses just cancel out the cutoff from the headlight beam. So instead of having a _/ _/ light beam, it's just flat. Yeah, my friend is having quite an adventure adding his own LED's. He added two or three LED's in the trunk but it's still a work in progress. When it's updated I will post images of them, maybe you'll have an idea. The lights under the doors are also 18-pt LED's so they're really bright, and this updates the look and feel of the car during egress and ingress. |
