Looked at a Ferrari today

... but they were eyeglass frames. I am needing to wear my reading glasses more when I use the computer. So I was checking out some frames at Costco, and saw some Ferrari frames, they were very neat looking, and they were very comfortable

I am saving to eventually buy one...

I figure if I sock away $250 a month like I have for 2.5 years now, I will have enough to buy one in like 15 years...

By then you'll be saving that money to buy a house or put your kids through college . . .

I already do that, but I am too cheap, I will just buy the glasses when I get around to it

For "speed" reading.

They're nice frames, a little fickle for cold, wet weather, not exactly dependable, require quite a bit of maintenance but the absolute "bomb" for picking up librarians.

I'm trying to convence my uncle to get one for his FL house so I can drive it. Much better investment than an SL500...

Owning a Ferrari up here is kind of pointless, the roads are so crappy and full of morons. Down in FL they are nice and flat, and at least where he is you have enough room to really open her up!

I put an offer in today on a late 80s 328GTSi with a blown motor....

Lets see what happens.... Maybe I can use the Ferrari fund for a Ferrari!

You'll need one. The local Ferrari Dealer has had mine for a month just to replace a hose and few other minor things. Yearly service is around $5700!

We used to have a 328, so the feeling is known....

This one would be a project though....

Still though, we spent more on the 328 in one year than we would for the whole fleet of Mercedes.
