Getting scammed again...game on!
The email follows I traced his photobucket account and found a bunch more car scams for sale, I don't have the time for this but I'm going to make a special example out of him. I'm hoping he is American because I can get him nailed on the impersonation of a military officer, stolen valor...USASOLS? Oh ****** please
Hello, This 2001 Volvo XC70 Cross Country AWD WAGON 5cylinder 2.4 Liter L5 FI 20V Turbo, with 89,000 miles and automatic transmission, runs excellent. The price that I hope to obtain is 4200$ with shipping and handling included. I am selling the car because my platoon will be sent back to Iraq and I have no use for it anymore. The price is low because I need to sell it before 15th Sep. You will not have any problems with registration since the vehicle is still registered in Texas and meets all environmental regulations in the US, there is no need to pay any additional taxes, just only the price for it. You will get from me the manuals, keys along with all the additional documents needed for registration. I want to take the opportunity to assure you that this deal is 100% legitimate, the financial part of this deal will be managed by the eBay's buyer protection program (They are acting like a third party in our deal). Which means that you will have a 15 days inspection period before buying the vehicle. If you want to complete the purchase please send me your; Full Name and Shipping Address and I will notify eBay that you are selected as my buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. Please email me ASAP if you want to move forward and let me know if you need anything else. Click on the link below for more info & pics about the car. http://xc70crosscountry.page.tl/ All the best! Whenever anybody states they are 100% legitimate a red flag goes up.
I like the idea he is including keys with the deal.

This is an old thread that I should have updated; I knew he was a scammer, that was the point. They did actually attempt to send me a check for the check cashing scam via ups overnight, this was a bonafide US based scam.

Wow
I can't believe this. Thank God I always check through the internet before I get myself into something like this. I believe this same guy tried to sell me a Honda Civic for only 2500. He changed some parts of the message and he changed his name to Richard Baldwin. I went through the internet looking for his name but didn't find anything. I work as an Army civilian and the acronym USASOLS seemed very strange so I looked it up and I found this page. BTW the email he used was buxinbux@yahoo.com. What a way to get some "bucks". This is the message I recieved from him TODAY:
Greetings, This 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid runs and drives excellent. Its unbelievably clean and excellent condition. The price that I hope to obtain is 2500 usd with shipping and handling included. I am selling the car because my platoon has been sent back to Iraq and I have no use for it anymore plus I want to buy another car in several months. The price is low because I need to sell it before March 15 You will not have any problems with registration since the car is still registered in US. You will not have to pay additional taxes, just only the price for it. You will get from me the manuals, keys along with all the additional documents needed for registration. I want to take the opportunity to assure you that this deal is 100% legitimate, the financial part of this deal will be managed by the eBay's buyer protection program (They are acting like a third party in our deal). Which means that you will have a 10 days inspection period before buying the car. If you want to complete the purchase please send me your full name and address and I will notify ebay that you are selected as my buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. True sign of a scam "You will not have to pay additional taxes, just only the price for it."
I stay away from any add that has that in it...when was the last time you bought a car, had the title changed over, and didn't have to pay taxes on it??

The language and lack of knowledge on vehicle registration tends to lead me in the direction that this is some pube, about 13-15, thinking that even if he's caught, he's getting nothing more than a slap on the wrist...juvy-hall is the worst that can come of this...(so says his "buds"... )
Some panty-waist Judge will probably say, "Aw, you should have known better..." and let him off... In the meantime, he'll fire up a few more sites, take a few grand, go nutz at "Up-Chucking-Cheezes'" and wait for the next check to roll in courtesy some sap that doesn't know/smell a scam when it's sitting on their face like a three-dollar whore. Someone, somewhere, needs to stop by and pay a little "Equalizer" visit to the kid... Scared straight might just be the beginning to his new learning/programming career..
