My new job-Lexus parts manager!!!

Well, the crappy economy hit the local Harley market pretty hard so I decided to move to greener pastures. I'm now the parts manager at Germain Lexus of Dublin Ohio. If I can help any members with Lexus parts or questions just let me know. Oh, if anyone needs some very nice stock take off Lexus wheels at a great price I have a few to get rid of.

I have an '01 Lexus LS430 and I just sold my wife's LX470; also, I own an auto parts store. When I go to the parts department of my nearby Lexus, I always say to myself "if the business comes crashing down, I'm coming here for a job". The look like a great place to work. Congrats.

Very true statements guys! Great place to work just tons of new stuff to learn. Most of the mechanics are O.K. with a few being a bit grumpy. When they found out I do all my own work they asked why I wasn't working in the shop. I told them I loved to do it as a hobby but didn't want to ruin that by working on them for a living....they clearly understood what I was talking about.
One thing that baffles me is how far behind the reynolds and reynolds computor program is. You have to do multiple steps to get one task done. Very convoluted, not user friendly at all!!!

Lexus' actually need parts replaced?

Congrats, hd! Hope it works out well for you. I like your rationale for staying out of the shop, too.

If you want convoluted you should try our UNIX system.

BTW, got any pics of your Torpedo?

Yeah, I though Lexi never broke down. Boy, things MUST be tough if the Harley business is down that much. I thought they had people lined up out the door to get Harleys.

Congratulations on your new job, HD, or should I address you now as simply "L?"

Are you kidding?! The Maytag repairman probably makes more overtime than anyone else trying to keep their crappy products limping along. How many years have they been trading on their once proud name?

Damn… I read that as: German… Lexus... Dublin… and got all confused.

Good thing I don’t have to fly today. I think I need a nap.

Anyway – Congrats on the new job !!

With the price they charge for them they only need to sell one... After years of buying Toyota parts going to the MB dealer is like a vacation.
