how can these pieces of sh#t still operate.i knew carfax would never in a million years give out a free report,but i thought i'd check out autocheck,sure enough they offer a FREE check.after entering the vin what do i get....NOTHING but an offer to buy their service.a-holes.just had to vent.but by chance does anybody know of a service offering a free check??

call your local DMV office. I called them to make sure the title on my delorean was clean( even though it was in an accident I wanted to make sure it was clean for reselling purposes of course).. I called and asked them if they could check my title for any issues. She said no problem whats the VIN.. so I gave it to her and she said the title was clean with no red flags.

I did a carfax for the benz and it didn't help since not everything gets reported to carfax.



that damage on my car wasn't reported at all when it happened 14 years ago... I knew this before I bought the car but It does have a clean title!

Isn't everything on the interweb FREE?

CARFAX has the same "come on" with a FREE check - then only to tell you they have some records and if you will pay they will tell you about them. It's just a hook like everyone else marketing on the web is doing.
